Come out to the 1st Annual 970 Prospect Community Garden Pumpkin & Paint Harvest Day  Event ! Halloween customs are welcome put not mandatory  as residents of 970 Prospect Avenue have created a safe space for young people to celebrate Halloween at this community garden.

Participants will receive a pumpkin and healthy recipes on how cook  this healthy vegetable in the comfort of their home as well as other nutrition base information on plant based diets, and fusion water demos. These are based on how to create a Healthy Beverage Zone using fruits, vegetables & herbs to combat over consumption of sugary drinks which is the #1 leading cause of type 2 diabetes in the Bronx.
